HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!

Happy Mother's day, everyone! I bet everyone is giving their mother presents. That's very nice! I gave my mom a coffee mug and roses. Is it weird to give roses? Hope not. Anyway, I was sort of lazy to make a card. Especially when I dislike coloring, so I made her a powerpoint! I just put photos of me and my mom together, and I put chat bubbles on top of our heads, and just typed in words that goes with our espression! It was fun. I showed it to my mom today, (Happy Mother's Day), and she was so happy and gratefull that she cried--Yes she did. I just hugged her, and said "Happy Mother's Day, Mom!", cause I was un-sure what to do! I mean--She's CRYING~What do I do?? So, yeah. What did you give your mom? Hope you & and your mom enjoyed Mother's Day!

Some of the stuff about my school

Norquay is a nice place. Except for the fact that most of the people swear. I mean, I don't REALLY mind. And I'm not againts the people who do, 'cause even I swear once in awhile. And people litter. Is it because they are too lazy to walk to the garbage can? Or are they just not caring for our enviroment and mother nature? I've asked one of my friends. And she just replied "I don't know". How can you NOT know? But I already know why she said that anyhow. She's too embarrassed, since I caught her littering. But I told her to throw it in the garbage anyway...

The cafeteria is SUPER noisy. I can't stand it. Well, maybe some people can, but in my head, it's like a fire alarm going off every few seconds! Sometimes, though, I feel uncomtable because sometimes people stares at me while I'm eating. They're not drooling over my food or anything. But, I catch their eye. And instantly after I do, they turn away, pretending they didn't see anything and start eating their lunches. Both boys and girls.

The library a perfect place to relax. Even though there aren't many chairs. You just mostly sit on the carpet, lean againts a shelf and read your book. It sometimes annoy me where you have to bring your book there to renew it. Why can't you do it without the book?!

That's all for now. More later :) Comment :) (If u want)

Latest Celebrity Gossip, Rumors...

Charlie Sheen has sold out several dates on
his US schedule for his 'My Violent Torpedo of Truth: Defeat is Not An Option'
tour.

The show will see Charlie Sheen take to the
road in early April for a month around the US and Canada.

As reported in the San Francisco Chronicle,
it remains unclear as to what will actually take place at the events, but it is
thought that they may draw on the actors 'Sheen's Korner,' rants which are
already available on the internet. The show "IS where you will hear the REAL
story from the Warlock," according to TicketMaster. Tickets are priced between
50 and 90 dollars, with extra 'meet and greet' packages costing considerably
more.

Since being fired by the producers of Two
and a Half Men, Sheen's behaviour has been increasingly erratic. Snowballing
from his now infamous interview with Cbs's Katie Couric, in which he announced
he was 'bi-winning' as opposed to bi-polar, Sheen's activities have been the
cause of much concern in the press. His father Martin Sheen has weighed in,
likening his son's problems with substance abuse to a physical illness: 'the
disease of addiction is like a form of cancer.'

Sheen made history when he took to Twitter,
amassing over 1 million followers in 24 hours - a record number in such a short
amount of time.

Katy Perry is used to having men stare at her -- but when a guy camped outside her home for two hours and just stood there, staring at the house ... her security team called the coppers.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Perry's security team spotted the guy lurking outside her Los Feliz home Wednesday night. We're told the guy was there for about two hours when the team finally said enough is enough ... and called the LAPD.

According to law enforcement sources, officers showed up on scene and gave the guy a talking to ... then sent him on his way.

As for Katy -- she wasn't even home.

Earthquake in Japan

Experts say Japan's tsunami warning system won a seemingly impossible race
against giant ocean waves, offering possible lessons to countries like India.
The Japan Meteorological Agency put out its first tsunami warning with details
of which prefectures were likely to face the most dangerous waves, a t 2.49pm just three minutes after the
quake on March 11.

A detailed warning, listing the height of waves likely to strike each
prefecture and the time of arrival of the tsunami at each place followed a
minute later - at 2.50pm.
The warnings were too late for Iwate prefecture, where the tsunami stuck
first at 2:49pm, but beat the waves to all other prefectures.
"...This is the best timing I have seen for a tsunami warning system, and is
an example for all of us," Sri Lankan tsunami expert Rohan Samarajiva said.

Japan's timing is significant for countries such as India and Sri Lanka
because the nearest fault-line in the Indian Ocean lies near the Andaman and
Nicobar Islands.
While Japan is forced to face tsunamis - generated just off its coast - India
has up to 120 minutes before a tele-tsunami (long-distance tsunami) hits the
Tamil Nadu coast.
Reducing the time needed for issuing warnings increases the time available
for evacuations, experts said. Indonesia took 14 minutes to issue warnings about
the 2004 tsunami off Sumatra.
The Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services took eight minutes
to put out its first bulletin on the Japan quake last Friday. The key to the
Japanese success appears to lie in pre-analysed models that allowed a
fully-automated warning system to make near-immediate announcements, the experts
said.
"India's tsunami warning system is now much better than it was in 2004. But
there are things to learn from the Japanese..." IIT Kharagpur professor PK
Bhaskaran said.
The process of warnings involves sensors on the ocean bed picking up wave
signals, transmitting them to land stations, evaluating the wave height and time
before the tsunami hits land, and obtaining clearances for evacuation.
